25 things to do before I turn 26

It’s now 2012

This year I will be turning 25 so while I was on vacation during the Christmas and New Year Holiday I decided to write my 25 things to do before I turn 26.

One of my idols said I know my dreams are big but aren’t dreams supposed to be big? Here are some parts of my big dreams:

1. Go out of the country… I have never been out of the country

2. Save 100,000 pesos

3. Have a stable and regular job that pays well

4. Be promoted

5. Go to Manaog Pangasinan… last time I went there was 2008

6. To be able to finally drive on my own

7. Have brunch in Tagaytay

8. Go to Palawan

9. Go to a world class amusement park

10. Eat in a 5 star hotel… last time was during graduation of my friends nilibre pa ako!

11. Be healthy… I want to live more than 26 years old without worrying about my health

12. To look better…. 2011 really screwed my skin and I want to weigh 100 pounds again

13. Own a designer wallet (I think I can used this more than a bag)

14. Go to Sagada

15. Buy a new gadget (hardrive!)

16. Make a new set of very good, trustworthy and reliable friends… I want more!

17. Have a spontaneous road trip… How I Met friends ahem ahem its weird when we graduated we never seem to have time for it anymore when we actually have more resources

18. Make a scrapbook of my college years

19. Learn something new

20. Color my hair (I have never tried coloring my hair)

21. Get a new real gold jewelry… last time I got one was a gift from my parents when I graduated college

22. Visit Sto. Domingo Church…. When our family friend was ordained he brought tucked under his gown the paper where I wrote my wishes as he bowed…at least one of my wish has come true already! Despite the struggles we have faced me and my twin brother finished our college degree)

23. Join another marathon or surfing festival. I like to run and I enjoy the first surf and music festival in the Philippines. I love the adrenaline but I like to keep safe though.

24. Do something sweet or tear jerking to a love one

25. Buy a new watch. I can only remember receiving a for only 2 time in my life one when I graduated grade school (I still use it!) and when my parents first went out of the country. I’m sure my parents bought me one when I was young still reckless to take care of it I know they bought me an angel watch when it was the “it” watch during the 90’s.

Verve of Demise

By Soleil De Sebe

Dark light will come to everybody

The light that nobody can escape

People run away from the darkness cape

While other embrace it in agape

The young and the needed will fear the end

While the restless runs to the end

Both path shall remain in pend

Until time has wend

Days shall cease

Hope shall be seize

For a new journey has yet to start

Pampanga's urbanization

Pampanga is one and half to hour (usually) away from Metro Manila. During 5th grade we started to construct our house there since then we have been staying there every weekend but right now due to some circumstances we just go there every now and then and during the holidays.

Pampanga now is way different than it used to be blame urbanization but the main blame would be SM Pampanga San Fernando. I can still remember people used to buy clothes in the city market and to nepo market in Angeles. The streets in the markets used to have lots have branded boutique but that was years back now the market is just an ordinary market. The boutiques are long gone. People go to SM to get stuff. There were lots of small groceries as well but now people would rather go to SM and of course those small groceries have shut down. In addition there are two SM malls in Pampanga; one in Clark and one in San Fernando. In addition, across SM San Fernando is the Robinson Star Mills and last year I think an Ayala Mall was added there.

Pampanga is so urbanized already! There a lot of land development going on if I have the money I will definitely invest a property there and even a house. The people are very urbanized as well. Most of the Kapampangan are so brand conscious!

Clark.... seriously if you go there to shop go to S&R instead or Rustan’s or wait a relative to arrive in the Philippines and go to duty free. The products are not cheap and almost every product can be bought now with the big groceries and department stores.

The rice fields are slowly being converted to commercial establishment as well. I honestly would like the rice field to remain I really want to feel the country side it’s a pity the next generation will no longer experience the simplicity of the country side.

Weekend Marathon

Last Saturday I was suppose to meet Jeck in Cubao station but things got complicated that we ended meeting at World Trade Center.

As I roam around the world trade center I seriously miss my old life back I still remember the days I just point at anything I want and my dad will buy them but things are not the same FOR NOW. I really wanted to but a lot of things like those memory foam pillows, jackets and shirts.

The traffic was so bad!
We were in the road for 2 hours from my house to World Trade Center and 2 and half hours going to Marikina.

We went to The Fort at 4:30 am for the Eco Run.
The run was a total failure because I got lost in the route...not only me =)
Imagine the feeling in the early morning getting lost in the military camp with strangers being pissed of because of the route was a mess! In the end I found my way to the finish line as seen the picture Jeck and I was reunited in the end.

Then we went to Burger Avenue for brunch. The burgers were HUGE and I really mean huge! It was 3 layers of burger patty (pure beef)! So every calorie I lost during the marathon was gained back I think even more by eating that burger. I ate that burger for 1 and half hour. The burger was delicious but given the size you probably know how it hurt my wallet. The water bottle was really cute so I took it home.

We watch Narnia 3 too the movie was okay but graphic kills though, very good visual to add Prince Caspian looks.
I went home by 2, took a shower and sleep and I woke up the following day =P
